Apply for a work visa

If you have received an employment contract from the Personnel Department of the Presidential School of the Republic of Uzbekistan, please do the following in the prescribed manner to prepare a folder for visas to enter and work in Uzbekistan:

1. Download and fill out the application form.
2. Gather the required documents from the list.
3. Date, sign, and scan documents.
4. Follow the instructions in the Document List / Documents listed.
5. Send the application folder to visa@piima.uz for a visa.

After applying

1. We will review your documents and notify you if any information is insufficient.
2. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your documents. Your visa application will also be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan for consideration.
3. You will receive an electronic confirmation letter confirming your application.
4. Once your application is approved, you will be asked to book a flight and it is recommended that you send us information for your convenience when we meet you at the airport.

Visa application

Please note: The Agency does not have the authority to issue any type of visa. We only assist with the application and advise our staff on this matter. Please note that the decision on all visa applications is made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The arrival

The visa will be issued to you at the Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent. You will need to provide the immigration officer with the passport you submitted to the agency with your previous application. The Agency will take care of the transfer from the airport to your destination. Within 3 days of your arrival, one of our staff will ask for your passport in order to register you at the designated place of residence. You will also need to provide us with a copy of your visa so that we can track the validity of your visa in a timely manner and apply for an extension (if necessary).
