  • New Uzbekistan University was established on 23rd July 2021 under the Agency for the development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized schools under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan
  • The main goal of New University Uzbekistan (NUU) is to provide world-class education, taking into account the development prospects of the country, to train internationally competitive, highly qualified personnel capable of ensuring the progressive development of society
  • The official language of NUU is English – all core subjects are to be held in English
  • NUU works in collaboration with internationally reputable Universities – the course and syllabus of the School of Engineering is to be designed in partnership with the Technical University of Munich, which is ranked 41st place in the world ranking by Times Higher Education
  • Teaching – Academic staff at the University will be dedicated to teach 15 hours per week in a full-time basis
  • Research – at least 3 hours per week shall be dedicated to research and publications.
  • Administrative duties – participate in academic program design process, prepare and constantly improve the syllabus and curriculum, teaching materials; participate in various workshops organized by the University to improve the quality of education
  • Addition contribution – act as an invigilator for exams, various assessments; participate in various events, meetings, conferences by the instructions of the University (if required)
  • PhD. or Master’s degree with strong background experience in the related field
  • Five years professional work experience with at least three years relevant teaching experience in Higher Education
  • Experience in conducting research and trach record of publications in internationally peer reviewed journals
  • Fluency in English language
  • Full-time faculty positions are offered with the renewal of the contract every three year and/or under the Employment Contract term.
  • Part-time teaching positions are also available in the University
  • Evaluation of faculty members will primarily be based on educational and administrative activities
  • For those who are interested in research careers, NUU will provide research facilities on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Full-time faculty members must be involved in research activities and publish at least two scientific papers with the University affiliation in the international journals
